Meet Petey, he was surrendered from a hoarding house. He was apparently beat with a stick at some point and his front and back legs were broken. He was never took to a vet and they healed back on their own. Petey's front leg turns out some and his back leg he holds up some when it's cold out. However it does not effect his walking in any way. He is good with other dogs but doesn't like to share his food with other dogs. He is good with kids and cats. Jesse is between 1 and 2 Years old.He was neutered in Dec and large rear dewclaws removed then also. He is mostly yellow lab but has hound or something mixed in. Jessie is leash trained, crate trained and does pretty well on house trained. He is food aggressive around other dogs so he needs to be fed separate. Jessie doesn't seem to like strange male dogs so he needs to be with a female or an only dog. He is very friendly to people as well as playful but not hyper. Parker is about 1-1/2 years old and believed to be a Shar-Pei mix. He was called in by a man who said if we didn't come get him he was going to shoot him! This boy is so loving and smart. His tongue is blue but he doesn't look like a chow. He gets along great with female dogs, but he doesn't seem to like other male dogs. Parker loves people. He loves to play fetch, is very affectionate, and loves to run and play with his doggie friends. This is Roscoe, a tan-colored shepherd mix with a handsome black face. He was left behind when his owner moved with no food, water or shelter. He is approximately a year old and weighs about 50 lbs. Meet Corker, he is a large, handsome mixed breed that was found in the road with his brother. Corker was so shy at first he would hide in his dog house and not come out. After some time and patience on the part of the foster she gained his trust. Her grand daughter would come by everyday and go inside the dog house with the dog loving on him until he finally got to where he would come out. He walks on a leash and rides well in a car. This is Buddy, He is a terrier mix that is about a year old. He was a stray that was found wandering. If given the chance he will take off from his home and be lost. Van Gogh is a happy fellow considering the rough time he has had. He was found abandoned, chained to a tree with one of his ears practically chewed off, just barely hanging on. He walked out of the woods behind Tom & Patty Mcleod house, Tom McLeod believed he was abandoned at the hunting club a couple of miles behind his house. The club is actually in Perry County & the McLeod's have seen many of these hunting breeds show up at there home. Prince showed up at this ladies house trailing a broken chain & an impacted collar on his neck. underweight, he hung at her house, even after her dogs tried to run it off.
